It's been decades since Jeep has produced a proper pickup truck. But that all changes with the all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator. Largely derived from the popular Wrangler off-roader, the new Gladiator combines sure-footed all-terrain performance and Jeep-brand styling with more conventional pickup truck attributes.

First off, the Gladiator is built like a real truck. It's a body-on-frame design that emphasizes durability and strength. Jeep even elongated the frame itself to allow for better towing capacity. In fact, the 2020 Gladiator leads its class with a towing capacity of 7,650 pounds and a payload capacity of 1,600 pounds. When it comes to the body, the Gladiator offers a single configuration. The four-door crew cab design means there's space in the cabin for five passengers. A standard five-foot pickup bed is ready to load up with supplies, equipment, or whatever else you need to bring along on your next adventure.

Where the Gladiator really stands apart from competitors is its all-terrain aptitude. It's the only midsize pickup available with solid axles both front and back. A hearty four-wheel drive system comes standard on every Renegade model, as well. A standard V6 engine under the hood is ready to pull you through challenging obstacles. If you're looking for even better capability, consider the Gladiator Rubicon. This model comes with additional off-road features like an electronically disconnecting front sway bar, FOX shocks, all-terrain tires, and more.

The 2020 Renegade even retains some classic Jeep personality traits. Namely, you can remove the top, all four doors, and fold down the windshield.

You may be surprised by the creature comforts available inside the cabin. Leather-trimmed seats, Uconnect infotainment, dual-zone climate control, and more are all available.

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator will be available to local shoppers later this year. If you would like to learn more, stop by our Jeep dealership in the Boston, MA area and chat with one of our staff members!
